A great mixture of Arab food and traditional Caribbean flavors, with a fresh ambiance and the beautiful smile of the locals.
Celele
For sure one of the best restaurants in Cartagena. The dishes are original and give a fresh touch to local food. I recommend the eggplant humus with a plantain mousse (similar to a Mexican mole in terms of consistency), as it is in my view, one of the best textures and flavors I have tried recently.
Cuzco
This is a traditional must in Cartagena as it reaches a perfect mixture of Peruvian recipes with local ingredients. There is also a branch in Bogota but for unknown reasons not as excellent as the Cartagena’s one.
