Crepes & Waffles (Zona T)
There was an offer that included a salty crepe with Lomito, and a dessert for about $9 USD, so I took advantage of the offer. It did not disappoint at all. Service was a bit slow, but the food was great.
La Hamburgueseria
A decent place to have a decent burger. You can create your own burger, and they also have special burgers, but not a wide selection to choose from. I ate a Cocoon burger, which included mushrooms, white cheese, and carmelized onions, which was a bit too salty for my taste. The onion rings were overly greasy, and did not have them, but the fries are really good. We had an appetizer, the Arabe, which was decent and suppressed our hunger since it took about half an hour to receive our burgers.
Al Agua Patos (Calle 93)
I loved everything about this restaurant. Probably one of my favorite breakfast spots EVER! I love their concept of their standout dishes being on toast, called patos. We ordered 3 different ones to try, and each one just kept on getting better than the one before. Their coffee and natural juices are also amazing. This is a truly great spot for breakfast or brunch, and the service is wonderful.
Central Cevicheria (Zona T)
The ceviche here is fantastic. We ordered three different types of ceviche and a mixed platter as appetizers only since we weren't as hungry. We also ordered a round of Pisco Sours and it has been a while since I've tasted a good pisco sour such as this one. The menu offers different varities of ceviche, and they have already prepared sauces for the ceviche. We had ordered one mixed, one jumbo shrimp, and one of tilapia, but the waiter mixed up our order and brought them all out with mixed ceviche instead of what we had ordered. The upside to this though was that we were charged for what we had initially ordered, which was less $$ than what the waiter brought us. If that makes sense. We were struggling with the heater which was in our face, we had to constantly tell them to bring down the heat.
Sipote
Great place for a quick lunch. You can either choose a burrito in a bowl, or a burrito and from there you add your ingredients. They have a wide variety of drinks, and the ordering process is quick and painless since they prepare it right in front of you. There is a terrace or you can sit inside. The ingredients were very fresh, and the chicken was not dry at all.
